[Help] How to update you firmware with Galaxy S II

We are going to tell you how to update your phone firmware for the Galaxy S II
1. First of all you need to go to Samsung website and download Samsung Kies,l for your pc or mac follow the link here :
2. Once you have installed kies on your pc or mac you can plug you galaxy s II with the USB cable.
3. Once you have plug the cable your pc or mac will take some time setting up the drivers (windows only) you can check at the bottom of the screen, once they are all install you will see some info your phone.
4. Once your phone has connected to kies, kies will say to you with a pop up window that there is an update!!
5. If this happens then you want to do do the update of course and kies will come up with some options about backing your phone and agreeing to T&C of the update.
6. Once you have agreed the T&C chosen to back your phone before the update press start or ok, this will check the firmware it needs to update your galaxy s II.
7. When kies has checked your firmware type it will start to download the fireware and then run it to install it on your galaxy s II (please do not unplug the phone in any way)
8. When kies has run the firmware you will see a green android bot with the words downloading under it this, the phone is started to stall the update and a green bar will come across the screen.
9. When this is done the phone will reboot and the update is complete.
