I have just purchased the Archos Arnova 9G2 and so far have found it to be very good. I did have an issue connecting it to my wifi network at first but a reboot sorted that, I have to say for the money this is an excellent device. There are a couple of points I'm unsure of 1. It doesn't have access to android market (although you do get appslib which has a lot of apps on it, although the paid for ones are all in us dollars and quite a lot of them don't work with my tablet) but apparently you can get access to the official android market, or play store as they've now renamed it, without rooting the device, has anyone tried this and what were the results? 2. I purchased this from pc world and the sales person in the store and their website say it can be upgraded to android 4.0 ICS. When I checked on the Archos site under firmware downloads my model isn't even listed, does anyone know how to update this device? Any advice or comments would be very welcome Thanks

Not a brillianr pic but it will give some idea It has a hd screen & you can play 3D games on it. Battery is giving about 5 hours at min but hopefully this will improve after a few charge / discharge cycles. Attachments:
